Grower/Adult Birds Management (After 6 weeks)

After attaining 6 weeks of age, the birds are let free in daytime for foraging or scavenging, and the shelter is given during night time.
Clean drinking water should be provided before letting them out
The preferred size of the flock is 12-15 birds/household depending on the area and natural food available.
The excess males can be reared separately and marketed for meat purpose
Night shelter should have good ventilation, adequate light and protection from predators.
